After going through several laptops, which would breakdown or simply become too slow after 4-5 years, I decided to build a PC, where I could swap out parts in the future as technology progressed.

My advice for anyone wanting to do this:
If you’re looking for speed: Find a friend who is into gaming and pick their brain on the cutting edge products for each part, and then purchase one or two tiers below that.
If you’re on a budget: Search YouTube for “$500 budget PC”, for example
